* NEW * Back to School Collection by Erin Condren

The New Back to School Collection by Erin Condren is just what I needed to give me that final push to put the final touches on my office space.  While I am a long term substitute teacher and bring some parts of this collection to work with me, the majority of it will stay home in my creative space.

If you want to skip right to the unboxing and installation video, I'll link it right here.  Otherwise you can read and see all about it here!

It's hard to start off with a favorite but these little gold bookmarks are certainly one of my favorites from the collection.  I love how heavy they are for one thing. And because of that and how tight they are, once you put them in place they are NOT going anywhere.  I like it when the page flops right to your spot because of the weight of these page holders.  Now they don't work with just slipping a piece of paper under them and moving on, they are better for long term archiving of pages.

And in that same paper chip genre there are several gold and rose gold options for these diamond paper clips.  Now I know we probably already have several decorative paperclips that work already but these are special because of the diamond shape.  Because there are many turn of the metal, you can either use it a just a regular clip or if you put it under 2 of the diamond rings, it becomes a TAB!!! Now I can just look for the paper clip sticking out just slightly and know where my place is!

These Gemtone push pins are clear squares with a colored ball inside.  They are definitely made for attention to detail because the face of the push pin has a diagonal line for added detail.

And I'm kind of obsessed about the way they can be stored. It has a retractable hook handle to store the ones I'm not using at the time on my peg board!

The gold memo board had 4 very strong magnets on each corner, so putting it on my galvanized metal sign is a great way to add it too my wall.  BTW it's cheaper than hanging it with command strips too!

On the right you'll see a Notepad with has a very sturdy colorful chipboard backing and top.  It is perforated down the side where the list section is AND perforated on top.  FANTASTIC addition to my home management system where everyone knows when and when to be and a place to write down their suggestions for groceries.

I can't look past this other fine addition, the desk calendar.  I made mine into a wall calendar because I like my work surface to be quite sparse but this one is perfect right above my desk.  Every month is a metalic color corresponding to the primary life planner color and I love the way it shimmers in the sunshine.  Makes my heart happy! ( there is a picture of it filled out at the top of this blog post)

I love this acrylic ruler!!! The font is perfect and it sure will come in handy when measuring with the kids at school.

And then there is the 4 piece desk accessories collection.  It comes with a file folder holder ( where I am storing my 2020 inserts and extra bound notebooks), a pen holder , a catch all for sticky notes and extra bits and an horizontal inbox for papers!

* NEW * Erin Condren Planner TOTE

Welcome back!
Can I just talk about this tote for a minute...  I wasn't 100% sold on this bag because, really, who needs another tote bag, right?!  Well in this You Tube video I talk about why I got it and gave it an honest and (very) throughout review.

If you are at work, and can't watch you can certain read and see the pictures I've got if you keep scrolling!!

Let's start with the exterior. I chose the navy canvas although there are 2 other faux leather ones as well. There is faux leather accents everywhere to elevate it from your just basic tote.  The plastic edge covering on the leather is just a testament to the attention to detail Erin Condren is known for.

The strap which measures 2 in wide, is quite heavy from it's gold hardware but I'm sure it is absolutely durable!  You can customize which of the 3 color ways, this one is classic, another one is pastel and the last is sorbet.  I chose the classic, red white, beige and blue version.

Let's dive deep with the interior elastic pocket.  Although I 'm scared to death of putting any liquids near my planner and supplies, my 20oz Yeti fits with room to spare.  You can also put your (dry) umbrella or pen case in there for easy access.

It does have 2 more pockets of 6 inches deep, one is 4.5 inches wide and the other 2.5 inches.  I've got my sunglasses in one and my laptop cord in the other.  Obviously you can hold a hole host of different things in these two pockets, although I kinda wish there was an interior zipper pocket though.

There are 2 zipper pockets on the exterior through.  I tried both my spiral bound and my EC Binder.  The 13 inch deep pockets fit the spiral bound with ease, although topping off at 12 inches wide the binder was a little snug to try to jam it in the pocket.

Now I tried several different arrangements of planner and life supplies to see what configuration I preferred the best.  It does hold all three of my EC planners, my binder punch, pen pouch and sanitary items.

If I take out my on-the-go folio, I could then add my laptop to a zipper pocket and my Yeti to the interior.  Unfortunately, I can't fit the whole kitchen sink, but I do think that it will hold just enough of my teacher supplies that I will be in business when back to school starts!

WE are over the moon about the newest Mommy Lhey and Paper House Productions Planners!
**don't forget to use the code PH19KIMO to save 20%

I've done a You Tube video walk through of the planners which is up on my YT channel if you want a more in depth look at each of it's components

As with all their planners the paper quality is absolutely stamp-able with no bleed or shadowing when I use my pigment ink!

Mommy Lhey 12 Month Undated Planner
The column width is 1.5 inches so not only do your Paper House sticker books work seamlessly, other manufacturer stickers like EC and MAMBI work PERFECTLY in it too!

I love that the monthly and weekly views are completely neutral in design, having the days of the week in gray not black and the ombre teal accents are blendable with many other colors. If you'd like to decorate with other colors, it  can be covered up completely due to it's very light pigmentation.  No white out necessary!

Mommy Lhey Mini 12 Month Undated Planner
This Horizontal planner measures  3.75 inches across the page and each day/notes section is 1.5 inches high.   Although the monthly calendar, is a little bit tight for more than two activities  a day it has a handy bills section is handy.  The Notes section on the bottom has a beautiful scalloped top and ombre shaded lines.

These are the stickers for the Mini Planner

There are plenty of functional and decorative stickers in the back as well, 3 sheets, along with 2 sets of clear monthly gold foiled tab stickers so you can start your undated planner at any month of the year.

All the Monthly Dividers for both the Large and Mini planners

There are two pockets: one on the front side of the first divider and the other is on the front side of the last one, which makes great storage options for all your planner supplies.

The monthly hexagonal dashboard is fantastically separated into 7 diamond check box Priorities place,  Goals section, a plain write it down place to jot things and a section for a monthly quote.

Punch pages for your Erin Condren BINDER!

This Binder is the BOMB!! I can't get enough of it's versatility!  Add pages and subtract at a moments notice is such an important part of my life!  It is every changing! The only problem I encountered was that there is no punch by Erin Condren AT THE MOMENT.  Until then, you can either punch each page by hand or keep on READING because I've got a fantastic solution!

We R Memory Keepers has come out with the perfect onsize fits EVERYTHING planner hole punch!
It can be used for permanent page holes, ones without slits OR you can use the square punch for taking pages in and out!

It adds such a level of personalization to everything you can possibly add to your new planner and makes it easy to work in it everyday!

For using the square punch, which is an add on from the original punch board, just place the punch insert in at the number marked 45 and place your paper in along the guides. Punch then flip the paper over but do not rotate it, to do the other set of middle holes. Then once you've punched your middle holes, place the punch insert at number 10 and line up the paper not at the end paper guide, Line it up at number 3!  Punch. then flip over the paper and repeat!  It is that simple!!!

If you are interested in knowing how to the permanent hole punching, it is slightly more complicated ( but not crazy hard) so I'm going to give you the link the my YOU TUBE video that shows you how to do it!
Or you can just click and watch below!!

Whole Body Wellness Planner | Setup of my NEW Erin Condren Life Planner

**Here is the You Tube Video Setup where I explain how I set it up but if you'd prefer to read, the blog post is below!

I spent yesterday moving into my Luxe 18 mo. Erin Condren Life Planner to set it up as a wellness planner. Yes I will be tracking my exercise and weight but there's so much more to our bodies than those 2 things!

I've taken the blank boxes and dedicated each month to a certain aspect of my health and well-being. By targeting those focus areas, I feel like I will be come a better version of the me than I've allowed myself to become after 43 years.

By knowing the areas in my body which I've neglected, I'm better able to breakdown each month and generate ideas on how best to improve that area of mine.  These of course are just lists that may or may not make it into the final cut, but it is a great jumping off point!

The monthly dashboard view is all set up and ready with tracking, weigh in and monthly goals.  In the intended birthday box, I will print out a picture of me so I can see the progress I will make over the next 12 months.

In the bottom dot grid section, I've set up 3 trackers.  By breaking them down by day and the week, I can see where my better and trouble spots are during the month.

On the opposite side, I've chosen one photo on the facing page which encompass the intention of the month.  A lot of times vision boards for me are too cluttered.  This one, which my chosen words on the bottom make a very chic and minimal impact on my monthly focus.

As we turn to the monthly view, I break down the monthly focus with colored hexagons.  During the month the colored hexagons will be an indication of those things and which day I will do them.  At the bottom I did add a budget sticker to make sure I do not overspend

Now for my weekly vertical view, I've tentatively sectioned out the three main day boxes into Breakfast / Lunch, Snacks / Dinner and the bottom will be for exercise completion.  Top top rounded header box will be a day rating scaled 1-3 for a reward system in place which I'll show you another time :) and the bottom header will be steps and miles walked and three lines for journaling, my mood count or just a simple motivating quote!

I'd also encourage you to use the hashtag #wecanplanwellness so we can all encourage each other and inspire each other in planning our Wellness Journey!

Stay tuned for more #wecanplanwellness updates! http://www.instagram.com/krodesigns

MICRO Happy Notes Set UP | Travel Wallet

Below are all the updated pics but if you'd like to see the original video set up, Here ya go!!

You Tube Vid ↑⇡⌃

I've wanted an all-in-one planner and wallet for sometime. A Pocket TN or an A6 rings were always lingering in my large purse for quite some time.

An then I found the Micro Happy Planner or what they are described on in the interweb as the Happy Planner Notes!

Originally this planner is supposed to be just simple blank note pages with 4 disks and a laminated cover but OH ME OH MY it can be so much more than that.  Let me show you what I've done.

I picked up this notes from my local Joann's (and no Michael's does not carry them, nor AC Moore or Hobby Lobby).  Apparently this is their second launch of this size of planner but I choose this Tropical Vibes cover with HOT PINK disks to make summer feel a whole lot hotter!

Right behind the cover I choose a large quote sticker from the Amy Tangerine 'Be Happy Box' to be my dashboard and focal point of the front of my planner.

Annie Plans Printables makes some fantastic inserts that you can use right along side of the ones the HP Notes provides, so I picked out this 2020 calendar and printed it out on vellum.  The airy feeling and texture of it lends itself well to the whole summer vibe thing.  I know I have a hot cocoa wrapped mug but it still gets pretty chilly at night here in Erie, PA:)

I did make a charm out of extra jewelry making parts.  By slipping it through the rings and dangles below the pages, it doesn't effect the pages turning at all!

Because I made dividers by laminating acetate, it lends itself very well to layering!  On Top, underneath, on the back side...so many options to give your planner some dimension without the bulk!

And speaking of dividers, these are all 3 x 4 with a 1/4 inch tab so relatively speaking, they are pretty tiny. But I did have stickers in my stash that work perfectly even in that small space!

And in that small space you'd think that there wouldn't be a ton of room to ACTUALLY plan.  Think again!  Of course writing multiple timed events in one small 3/4 inch space is challenging even after a number sticker is put in there too,  It's pretty manageable!  I even had enough space on the right side bar, where we are supposed to put the month in, to house a no spend tracker for July.

After this Happy Daya insert, I stuck a couple of her sample sheets right after!  This is the perfect size to use and store all those sampler sheets we have lying around!

Postcards can be cut down like in the instance of this Mommy Lhey unicorn superhero!!

A trimmed bookmark, some washi and a couple of die cuts make a very easy and cute divider or bookmark.

One of my favorie spots in all the planner...Those guys are so cute hanging out there!  And that bright pink cabachon really makes the planner pop with color too!

Lots of layers!

I love how this little guys works hard for me, taking notes so I can head to the store without forgetting something! (mostly)

I could even do some Disney planning!!!

And don't forget to decorate the inside and backside cover with washi tape. It's a great way to spruce up the inside with no long term effects of damage.

And speaking of the cover!  I found this at Staples in the clearance bin. (here is the deets on that: Eccolo  World Traveler @2018 Travel Wallet ST902L barcode: 826635199441)  Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere online, but it is perfect with a zippered pocket to hold credit cards, change and money!

I REALLY enjoyed putting this together!

Thanks for stopping buy everyone!!!

XOXOXO
-Kim
